Do you take pre-orders?
Silver Screen Toys and collectibles will offer pre-orders on select items when they become available for pre order from our distributors. If a manufacturer offers a pre order that is not listed on our website please contact us so we can try to get the item for you.
All pre-Orders over $100 require a 20% non refundable down payment. If making this purchase via our website and you only wish to put the 20% down you must check out using the "Lay-Buy Powered by PayPal" payment option. If pre-ordering in store you may use any of our accepted payment options.
When pre-ordering from us you always have the option to pay the entire purchase price up front or take advantage of our "Lay-Buy Powered by PayPal” payment option.
What payment methods does Silver Screen Toys and Collectibles accept?
During Point of sale transactions at our retail location, Silver Screen Toys and Collectibles accepts most major forms of payment including traditional credit and debit cards. During trade shows we accept cash, VISA, Debit VISA, Mastercard, Debit Mastercard, and American Express debit and credit cards. For online orders we also accept PayPal, and Lay-Buy Powered by PayPal.
What is Lay-Buy Powered by PayPal?
Lay-Buy Powered by PayPal is the convenient payment method you can use to order products now, and pay them off over time. Lay-Buy works like a traditional lay-away where you pay a down payment today (20%) and pay off the rest in equal installments over time (6/six months).
Silver Screen Toys and Collectibles accepts Lay-Buy powered by PayPal only on orders and pre-orders of $100 or more.

Do you buy toys from the public? Yes! Silver Screen Toys and Collectibles will buy your used toys and pop culture collectibles. Feel free to send us photo's of your items or come visit us at our retail store. We also offer consignment options. In the case of large collections we can travel to your location to view your items. Please contact us at sales@silverscreentoysandcollectibles for more information. At this time we ARE NOT accepting train sets, comic books or sports memorabilia.
When will my order ship?
For all in stock items your order will ship within 5 business days of full payment.
For all pre-order items your order will ship once full payment is made and we have received the items from our distributors in accordance with our existing shipping policy(5/five business days).
Note: Silver Screen Toys and Collectibles has no control over when items will ship from the Manufacturer to our distributors. Shipping dates for pre-orders listed on our website are estimates only.
What Shipping methods does Silver Screen Toys and Collectibles offer?
We currently use Canada Post and UPS for all our shipping needs. Please contact us if you wish to make alternate shipping arrangements at your expense.
Do you have a retail store?
Yes! Silver Screen Toys and Collectibles operates a retail store at 1 Main Street Bobcaygeon in the City of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, Canada. Contact us if you would like us to hold any in stock items for you for local pick up. Item's not picked up within 5 business days will be placed back into regular inventory.
Our hours of operation are;

What is Silver Screen Toys and Collectibles return policy?

Full refund within 30 days of your purchase,in the form of store credit with the following conditions:
New Items: must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all accompanying literature. Packaging that is not in the condition it was shopped in will result in a lower refund credit determined at the time of inspection.
Vintage/pre owned/ consignment items: Due to our inability to verify the items condition, we cannot issue refunds for vintage or opened items.
Additional non-returnable items: Gift cards
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your associated email address. In order to redeem this refund you must contact us directly at sales@silverscreentoysandcollectibles so that we may fill your order manually. Do not attempt to redeem a store credit through the website or our system will automatically take you through the normal check out procedure.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We will only replace items that are defective or damaged and only if we still have stock of that particular item. If you need to exchange it for the same item, contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will provide instructions on how to return your item.
In the event the item you're returning is no longer in stock we will issue a full refund on the original purchase price.
All terms of this return policy are applicable to items received as gifts so long as the gft recipient can provide proof of the original purchase.

You are responsible for the shipping costs to return your items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on your country of residence, the time it takes for your exchanged product to arrive, may vary.
If you are shipping an item valued over $100 CAD, you should consider using a trackable shipping method or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item. Silver Screen Toys and Collectibles is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
We reserve the right to change or modify this return policy at any time without notice so please review it frequently.
Does Silver Screen Toys and Collectibles charge sales tax?
GST/HST is collected on all transactions in accordance with all federal and provincial laws in Canada.
