Dart Blaster to BOOM stick, a Re-Deco Project

This is the Air Warriors Sidewinder dart blaster from Buzz Bee Toys. Buzz Bee is the Wal-Mart brand that's poised as an affordable alternative to Nerf. For Just about every Nerf blaster going you can bet that Buzz Bee will produce something similar. At least in shape anyway. It's come in a couple of different colour schemes and most recently has undergone some cosmetic upgrades, the most significant of which is an added carry handle. Remembering Richard Hatch

Yesterday the Sci Fi  world lost a real Icon. Richard Hatch, 71 lost his battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Altough he made his debut in the daytime soap opera All my Children and went on to have recurring roles in The Streets of San Francisco, and the Mary Hartman show, Richard will be most remembered for his role as Captain Apollo in the 1978 Battlestar Galactica.     Generally speaking I don't usually react to celebrity death. In fact, my default go to military strategy game is the combined game of both Axis and Allies Europe 1940 and Axis and Allies Pacific 1940. So, everything I can and will say about the...

Silver Screen 2016; a Year in Review

Hey Toy Fans!   We're back at it! One extra day without the kids was just too enticing to pass up.   First off; Happy New Year! Wow, was 2016 ever a whirlwind for us!  Back in the spring we literally went from a "good idea" to launching our website in just 4 short weeks! Talk about taking the plunge. Almost immediately after that we started into the toy show and convention circuit. The show circuit is hectic and labour intensive but we love it! It's how we've gotten to meet so many of you! Through those show connections we were...
